PROFESSIONAL PATHWAYS

CARECEN has partnered with the Office for New Americans to offer our Professional Pathways program. This program assists highly-skilled immigrants in obtaining job placement in their fields. Professional Pathways offers individualized job coaching, job upskilling opportunities, and job seeking strategies to job seekers who:

Have lived in the United States for less than 10 years

Have a degree, certificate, or professional experience from their country of origin

Have work authorization in the United States

Leslie Pérez
​
Leslie is a native Long Islander of Puerto Rican descent. Much of her experience has been in the non-profit sector, and she is honored to be a part of the great team at CARECEN that contributes so much to the welfare of immigrants. Leslie lives in Holbrook with her husband, three teenage children and three crazy dogs.
