Our classes can help you prepare to take the citizenship exam.

 

CARECEN, in partnership with the New York Office of New American, offers classes for anyone in Nassau or Suffolk counties who is preparing for their citizenship exam. The classes cover all the information you need to know for the day of your exam, including:
 

1. Practicing the 100 Civics questions in English

2. Talking through the interview questions and answers 

3. Practicing the reading and writing portions of the test

4. Discussing what to wear and what to bring to the day of the interview

 

Classes are 10-weeks long, and restart after a short break between quarters. Students are welcome to join anytime during the class, and can repeat the class as long as they need to until they are ready to pass their test.
